We are happy to play any songs you’d like to hear that are currently on our setlist. We are happy to learn a handful of special requests as well. You can give us direction on what styles of music you like/dislike and what songs you don’t want to hear too.

Yes, check our events calendar to see where we are performing publicly next. If you’d like, feel free to shoot us a message and let us know you’re coming or come say hi during a break at the show! Please note that most public shows will feature our trio lineup (guitar, bass/vocals, drums).

Yes, we will have dance music playing during the bands breaks. The amount of breaks we take depends on how long the dance set time is. If it is around two hours we will take one break. If it is three hours we will take two.

In most cases we can add an additional hour of overtime if you aren’t quite ready to end your party.

We are based in Boston but travel all over New England! Depending on where the venue is, there may be additional travel costs involved.

We do not require a stage but we do need a flat surface that will fit all band members and gear. 12x16ft is a great size stage for a 4-6 piece band.

The band provides a full PA system in addition to a wireless microphone for speeches.

The band generally plays a 2-3 hour dance set with 1-2 short breaks in addition to our dinner set.

Yes! The smallest size band we offer is a three-piece band, but we can add musicians depending on what additional instrumentation you would like! For more intimate settings, we also offer an acoustic duo option (guitarist and singer).

We have a portable speaker we can bring to any location in the venue as long as there is a power source!

When you book The Mockingbirds, you get a true band. Many wedding bands are comprised of hired-gun musicians who may be meeting each other for the first time at your wedding. The Mockingbirds keep a close knit roster of musicians who know and play with each other all time. That means a more polished experience than a group of strangers could ever provide!
